their wiring technician must be a millionaire to be solving wire problems like this! imagine somewhere in Ho Chi Minh city, someone's connection is gone..& i mean like ONE person. HOW TO CHECK WHICH ONE!!!See, i had to avoid being strangled (like i damn tall..)

okay neh mind, i don't wanna find out how too.

So we were there for 4 days and first day, we went to the art museum!


I was trying hard not to block the art piece behind me but failed terribly.


We were mimicking the art pieces. Phototaking were not allowed so this was the only photo we managed to take & i like it cause very artsy fartsy mah. no meh!

So next day, we went to Cuchi tunnels, the famous tunnels dug and used by the Vietnam soldiers during the war with America! it's like a MUST go when you are in Ho Chi Minh. (partly cause can lose weight! XD)


First stop was to enter this basement kind of hut and be infused with Vietnamese propoganda. REALLY TRUE COMMUNIST PROPOGANDA feeling man.
During the whole propoganda talk.

Voice-over: Cuchi is a beautiful state.. blah blah blah
Cuchi has many trees and blah blah blah
Cuchi, home of hundreds and thousands of people... blah blah

Yes, all her sentences starts off with CUCHI.

The tour guide (BILLY) pointing out CUCHI and telling us his war story. (he was helping the Americans during the war so he was telling us both sides of the story)


Billy explaining the hole to us. He likes to poke fun at the Ang Mohs.

Billy: You know, Americans cannot go into the hole! Their Boobies and Arse TOO BIG. Boobies stuck, ass stuck. no good. Have to pull them out.

FUNNY dude. Whole bus journey he was saying that.


Brave soul. Only one who actually dared to try out that tiny hole that even i am not sure if i can fit. but since he can, i can too lah. he angmoh leh. bigger than me. But it was damn dirty, so i skipped that.

*we saw someone got stuck at her boobies. Angmoh lady. What Billy said was true. All of us couldn't stop laughing when he pointed it out. "There! i told you. Boobies stuck"

So we met some soldier friends there.. and took a group picture.





& they introduced us to the huge tank which we all climbed all and took a picture but sadly i don't have it and i will explain why later on.

We walked over to the shooting range which was REALLY LOUD k. I nearly went deaf. Bf and miah decided to try shooting some AK-something gun. i forgot :( Bear couldn't cause he dislocated his shoulder sometime back and I was just afraid that I will fly to Hanoi with one shot.

and finally, we entered the CUCHI tunnels! HELL OF A RIDE. okay, WALK. no wait. CRAWL. (for bear and miah) and DUCKWALK for bf and i.

On the way down the tunnel!! a very delighted me.



Still going down.. we are on our way into the small little tunnel hole.

Believe me now? It's like kid's height. It was super dark and stuffy inside. you can only get a whiff of fresh air every 30m. We had to use the camera flashes to guide us through all the way. I think we went pass like 5 holes of fresh air?

FINALLY WE CAME OUT AND WE WERE ALL PERSPIRING ALL OVER!! damn gross.

Well, I couldn't post up alot of pictures because my bf's camera got stolen :( it was snatched away by a stupid motorcyclist. seriously. It happened so fast, we all didnt have time to react especially poor bf.

See the picture? his camera was carried exactly the same way. The bag was not cheap too k! supposed to be very hardy. then one tug by the motorist,gone! he is damn good at snatching things. :(
