The boyf gave me a prep talk the day before and I wasn't supposed to eat anything till I met him for this little surprise! (i didn't know where we were going yet)
greedy me, i couldn't not eat for a long time and innocently took 2 BITES from the yam cake i bought for my grandma. just 2 BITES and they were small ones. =P
we went to visit my grandma first (been doing that every Sat) and fed her yam cake. we stayed and chatted with her till 3pm (THANK GOODNESS I ATE SOMETHING) and I was famished to the max.
After we left, i kept grumbling about the sun, the heat and the hunger. They do not make the perfect combination you know.
insisting on taking the train from boon keng, the boyf had no choice but to comply in order for me not to know the surprise.
while on the train, i suddenly THOUGHT i knew what the surprise was!
me: You bringing me go Dian Xiao Er right! Hmmm let's see, i'm sure there is Dian Xiao Er in AMK! (we were changing to the North-South Line)
boyf: who says i'm bringing you there?
me: you are lor! cause i want to try the food there and you said you will bring me once you had your pay. i'm so smart!
boyf: thank god for DXE to keep your mind occupied...
and he proceeded to ignore me!!!!! :(
we alighted at Orchard MRT and my mind was still wondering which part of Orchard is DXE in... Taka? Paragon? like no leh!
(YES I KNOW, I'M LIKE IN MY OWN WORLD)
we took a long walk to FEP and i thought he was going to bring me to COOL UNCLE for lunch and was like "HUH?!?!??!?!?!?!!!?"
but no, we walked up further till we were at GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL!!
I was super excited and couldn't stop exclaiming how beautiful the place was and how red the carpet was and you get what i meant.
I thought the boyf was going to bring me for a lunch buffet at a hotel but no....
what he had in mind was better!
DURIAN FEAST!!!!Goodwood Park's Deli has this promotion, comprising of Durians and Pastry and what heavenly delight it was!
The boyf and I decided to get the Durian Crepe, Durian Cake and Durian Strudel! And you can see from the picture that I was really happy!
The decor was amazing and hell! the DURIAN FEAST was AMAZING! Solid durians to make me happy!
& so, we became the stinkiest couple in that stinkiest day ever. :D
